I Fell in Love with the 70's

Today was a great day to pull up to my house to a package I have been anticipating. Recently Adidas dropped a bunch of new color ways for the Iniki Runner. I was lucky enough to catch a Tweet from Sneakersnstuff. I had my eyes on one specific color way, and that was the "70's Pride." I instantly fell in love and wanted to add it to my collection with the blue/navy Iniki Runner that previously released.

Few months ago Adidas released a couple color ways in the Iniki Runner. The shoe features a retro-inspired look on the upper and adds new boost technology. These shoes are very comfortable. I would compare them to a comfort level of an improved NMD. They do not compare to an Ultra Boost, EQT 93/17, or Yeezy Boost. Overall, they are very comfortable and give a nice retro look.

The reasons why the "70's Pride" was my favorite color way is because of how vintage the shoe looks. It has a really nice color collaboration and is eye catching. It represents the 1970’s running era, this new colorway comes mesh and suede upper done in subtle shades of White/Light Grey offset by the vibrant hits of Cored Red and Blue noted on the outsole, heel and Three Stripes. This is a super dope shoe for spring and summer. Not to mention, this specific color way was sold out very quickly, instantly on Adidas. For me personally, I really love the off white. I love white sneakers but they do not love me. That and my OCD just makes all white pair of sneakers a nightmare in a beautiful disguise.
