Cocaineyaaaaah
The new Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 released on Saturday, April 29th. The Triple White Yeezy Boost 350, also known as a "Cream," or my favorite, "Cocaine." This beautiful and clean shoe is the 8th color way of the V2 and was supposedly t the most general release of all the versions.This shoe is made up of an upper prime knit weave and is mostly white. If you look closely you can see in the background, a very faint writing of the SUPPLY 350. This shoe has the same center stitching as the previous models, as well as same standard rope lacing. Both interior and exterior of the shoe are white. The insole of the shoe is white with the YEEZY branding in black. The outsole of the shoe has more of a yellow/cream tint to it. It is a must have for the spring and summer in m opinion. I was able to get a pair for retail ( tad cheaper) on this release. After picking up and unboxing my shoes I made sure to CREEP them and if you were able to cop a pair I hope you did too!
When I first heard about this release I was not really interested in this color way. Although, it was very easy to get my hands on a pair. I was able to walk into Foot Locker and purchase the shoe. YES! I did not win a raffle, I just walked into Foot Locker on my lunch break and picked up a pair. I could only get a hold of a size 11. I sold my size 11 and purchased a size 7. In the end I made out with more than I thought I would. Although, I was a little worried with a size 7 being snug. Since my previous pink/black is a 7 and it is snug. Although, trying on this color way made me realize how all over the place is with sizing for Adidas. Like I have said before in previous posts about Adidas sizing, this definitely puts the icing on the cake with the fact that their sizing is always changing! I will recommend, if you need to go half a size up, you can. I would not recommend going a half size or even a full size down.
Like I said before in my previous blogs, I am not an all white type of sneaker person. My reasonings are that I am too OCD and it gives me anxiety that I will destroy them. Although, when I started seeing early releases and reviews of the shoe on foot, the color way did not look all white, or triple white in my poison... This sneaker resembles more of a cream or an off white. In comparison to a triple white ultra boost, these are not as white. Now, do not get me wrong, you still need to be careful for these. I would definitely recommend putting some type of protector on them before you wear them. Especially if you are dropping more beans and paying over retail! Take care of them!
Overall, I am very happy with this shoe and color way. I really love the cream color and it totally changed my overall opinion of the shoe when seeing it in person. If you were not able to get your hands on a pair for retail... Like I always say, do your RESEARCH. Check out social media for sites for people trying to make a quick buck and always negotiate!! Check out others trying to sell a pair for their size and the market is not high for these. If you wait chances are it could go down since the stock of the shoe was high, but you never know because their are some greedy people out their putting high priced stickers on anything they can.
