We Are All Humans
Adidas rolled out a whole pack of the NMD in various color ways called "Human Race." Inspired by Pharrell Williams. These shoes retailed for $240. The pack was super limited and only able to be purchased at shops and boutiques like Kith, Bait, Barneys NY, Shoe Gallery, Undefeated, CNCPTS, and Packer Shoes. The resell to grab a pair of these sneakers is pricey. I would recommend making sure if you can lock a pair down at a good price you do your RESEARCH like I always say. There are many fakes of these shoes so please, do not get scammed.
In my opinion the Human Race pack is an incredibly beautiful shoe. Compared to the recent shoes that were released they do not compare. I value this pack and I am sure you will break more necks in any shoe of the pack compared to the new ones that just look like a tennis shoe or a re formed Stan Smith.
This unisex model features a newly designed lace system.. Which is awesome, I love shoes I do not have to tie.. Yes, I am lazy. The lace concept of the shoe goes through the cage of the stabilizer to create a moccasin type of feel, giving support and breathable. We all know NMD's are no where near as comfortable as an Ultra Boost, but these give more flare and a second glance to learn more... Although, the boost midsole meets a breathable and flexible yellow Primeknit upper with bold ‘Human Race’ branding. This specific shoe identifies Human Species. Other color ways of the collaboration pack differ with other unique sayings. For sizing of the shoe, I would go true to size, going a half size small may be too snug.. I know for me it would.. I go a size 7, a half size down from Ultra Boost.
What really won me over with wanting to have this shoe in my collection is the meaning behind it.is A pair of sneakers might not save the world, but they can act as a common ground for people from different walks of life to come together and better understand each other. According to Adidas the intention is to "explore humanity and celebrate diversity around the world."
When Pharrell was asked--
"Is it more important to you to make a "hot" shoe or tell a great story?
[Laughs] I never am looking to make a "hot" anything. I always do what feels right to me in everything I do. I think the most important thing is to make something I love, other people will love, and I am influenced by stories always, so they go hand in hand."
This statement above by Pharrell Williams truly brings warmth to anyone who has a passion to expressing what is on their feet.
I really favored the red color way but I was able to get my pair for retail so "beggahs can't be choosahs."
Overall, they hot.
Brookeydoo Out.
