Where to Take Your Bites in The Big Apple

Wow , what a weekend !

I was fortunate to be apart of the Pride in New York City! It was such an adventure. Pride itself was so incredible and I am so blessed to have been able to experience it with my favorite person. New York really has my heart. You an walk through the streets and everyone you see is different in their own way. I love the creativity in the streets a lone. Seeing different art work and random stickers that you can find intrigue me. It is really the City that never sleeps...I love how the City is also awake. Does not matter the weather, the time, the day, or the occasion... all that matters is the City is a live and what life you bring to it .One day, I would love to just be able to live here.

The City atmosphere always has me at hello, what keeps my cravings going is everything around it. Not only is the fashion and footwear on point, but so is the food. I was lucky enough to have some beautiful company in this journey. We explored many different places, from a Quickie Mart, to authentic Mexican, and to really add the cherry to the pie, CUBAN FOOD! Wow, so impressed with the spice, I love it.

I’m all about the spicy. Not to mention the delicious margaritas and sangria that accompanied it. Topped the day off.

Let's get down to the sweet sports. For all my sneaker heads and fashionista out there. I love New York. Truly, because you can find some real finds. I was lucky enough to grab a box logo crew neck from supreme. I also got to experience both the Nike Lab and the Nike/ Kith store. I wanted to buy everything... like Kevin Hart once said .. my back account just is not set up like that ..

My girl and I were able to check out the Lulu Lemon stores. I must say if you have the opportunity to check out the Lulu Lemon lab, you def should!! The crew is so nice and the clothing, well you know .. sells it self! A lot of people think it is over priced. Like I always say, you get what you pay for me. Personally, I like to sweat in Nike or Lulu Lemon. Yes, I choose both over Adidas. The construction of the clothing and the way it feels before and after a workout is what sells me.

I also hit up the adidas Originals Store in Soho! Such a great and beautiful store. I love the culture of the store. I want to shout out my man Jorge, who is an incredible human being. In the sneaker culture you get opportunities to meet amazing people. I became friends with this homie over Instagram, adnd I am blessed that we were able to cross paths in our life and meet. Such a great vibe, cool atmosphere, and good vibes.

I was able to get my hands on a pair of the Iniki London!! If you do not know about this shoe... well let me let you know. This shoe was only released in London. The shoe is extremely limited in sizes and was only sold at the adidas shop found on Foubert’s Place in the capital. The London Iniki has an impressive and eye striking theme of black and red. The shoe is based of iconic 70s era aesthetic of the upper is suede and nylon construct. This is complimented by crinkled suede stripes and a leather decal the rear. What is really different about this shoe are the laces. They have a reflective vibe to them which makes the shoe pop even more. (I will be doing a full on foot review of the shoe in a later blog.)

Overall, after going to various shops… I will have to say my top 3. I really loved the Nike and Kith store. Not only can you loose your mind in all the sneakers and clothing, but they also have CEREAL ICE CREAM!! Like, do I need to say more!? My second pick what be the Nike Lab. I really loved how beautiful and simple the store is. Third, I love Adidas on Spring Street. The vibe is super cool and the employees are really cool to chat with.

Brookeydoo Out.
