Philly Jams
Today I ventured out into Philly to check out some dope spots that I have never been to before. I started the day in Manayunk with my good friend and ventured into the heart of the city. It was a super hot day and I must say, God bless Uber. I wanna shout out to one of my best friends, Mike! This dude style is out of control and he also showed me a pair of custom Yeezys he did. Dude is super talented in making something simple into something incredible! 100hells... FOLLOW THIS MAN! (ON THE IG)

The first stop we went to was Suplex. The store was a smaller size and had a lot of Supreme, Basketball Jerseys, and some Kanye pop up merch. Like I said before (in my Instagram story) I was not looking to purchase any sneakers on this trip. I have had some good pick ups this month and want to appreciate what I have gotten.

That is a problem with the sneaker game. Sometimes people just do not know when enough is enough. I have started to be really particular in my pick ups and make sure it is something that I truly want. Rather than buying a shoe and a week later , liking something more. For this, like I always say… DO YOUR RESEARCH. There are so many sneaker websites that are filled with news and updates on upcoming releases. Make sure you plan your pick ups.
The second place we went to was Common Ground. I really like this store the most out of the three spots we went to. Common Ground had a really welcoming vibe and I loved the style of the store. It was a more low key and chill. They had a lot of Supreme, Vape accessories, sneakers, Basketball Jerseys, Palace, and thrifty old school shirts. The only thing was, they did not really have any apparel in my size. Overall, I really liked the shop and thought the employees were very personable. Will definitely be back for a second visit..
The third place we went to was Invisible Fake. This place was super low key hidden. Down in Chinatown we went. It was both of our first times visiting the store. In order to get into the store they have to buzz you in. The store is super simple and carried a lot of apparel from various brands. I would definitely say this store carried more of the higher end line ups of clothing out of Co mom Ground and Suplex. From Bape, to Supreme, to Off White, Anti Social Club, and to Palace. I will say their prices are very good, but the items are high end so you will still have to break that piggy bank.. I was really impressed with seeing some Bape and Anti Social Club collars they had. I was able to pick up a super sick Supreme shirt from a previous drop, the Supreme 2017 Dream Tee…

I was pretty proud of myself not going too crazy and picking up too many things. Although, I did make a hype purchase of a BAPE Face Mask. I loved the look of it and think I can have lots of fun for future photos.

Overall, if you get a chance to make it into the city and you enjoy things you may perhaps missed out on. I would definitely check out these stores. It is kind of crazy to see some of the sneakers that they have sitting on the shelves. Sometimes we often forget some OG’s that we may have passed up on, and now regret. These are the perfect types of places to go and check them out.

Brookeydoo Out.
