Back when the Air Jordan 1 came out in 1985 Nike was known as a running shoe company. Michael Jordan originally had intentions in wanting to sign with either Converse or Adidas since these were the shoes that he had worn in college playing for North Carolina.

When Nike offered to sign Jordan he did not snow much interest. In outcome both Adidas and Converse declined and according to a Wall Street Journal article published in 2015. It is crazy to stop and think to ourselves that what would Jordan brand be without Nike? Taking a minute to let this thought simmer in your mind can really make you wonder and think that without Jordan brand, what would Nike be?

Michale jordan created a brand of footwear and athletic clothing back in 1984. At the time it was when a Jordan was playing for the Chicago Bulls and Washington wizards when Nike endorsed Jordan. Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore designed the footwear and appeal with Nike. The Air Jordan I was originally released on the market from 1985 to 1986. Then retro-ed in 1994, 2001–2004, and 2007–2017.Still to this day the Jordan brand sponsors 21 athletic athletes

This Red Metallic Air Jordan 1 shoe was an original color from 1985. This shoe was a retro and released back in May 2017. So I bet you thinking.. it's now August 16th, 2017. Yes I know the date, thank you. The reasoning behind this is not about the date. It is about the fact so many sneakers that are under rated and not hyped like others does not mean that they are not a fire gem. A big reason why I love Jordan 1’s so much is because of the GOAT, Michael Jordan. Michal jordan really impacts me as a sneaker head because not only does he have so many amazing sneakers, but the fact that he gives back to the community and is a role model to so many people out in this world.

I love this shoe. A lot of people know my love for ones. I am more than happy to add this pair of kicks to my collection on 1’s. This color way is super simple and clean. You can honestly wear this shoe with anything. You can dress it up or dress it down. That is another reason why I love the jordan 1 silhouette so much. Not only that but this shoe is still sitting below retail!! Do your research like I always tell you. Besides my love for this shoe the true story lies with how many shoes are released and sit on the shelves and if you are patient and wait, you are able to grab them for a steal, because their are so many people out there that do not respect an athlete nor a brand that has truly changed the sneaker head game forever, they are just too involved on the current hype and do not take the time to remember where and exactly how it all started.
