I mean you cannot go wrong with some chicken and waffles..

Let's just make sure its vegan! A lot of people know my passion and love for sneakers. It is not even about the about the style or the hype, for me its about the creativity. Things including the logic behind the shoe, the meaning, the reason why I should give my money out and wear it, and why it is so different than another. I also love seeing rare and different shoes. Shoes that the average person is not walking around in. Here is the thing guys, I am over the YEEZY wave and just seeing YEEZY and ones automatically just labeling you if you are in YEEZYS that you know about sneakers. Honestly, it makes me sick.. Where is the culture? Where is the story and wear is the history?I will tell you where it has gone, its behind the hype, because people seem to think thats all it is about…. And I am here to tell you it isn't.

Many people know this shoe came out over a year ago. Recently I watched a video on Complex, a sneaker shopping VLOG. Complex does little shows with a celebrity and takes them sneaker shopping. The video I watched was with rapper Logic. Immediately when they introduced him on the show, I went right to his feet and took a peak. Well as it turns out, he was wearing the Nike Sb Chicken and Waffles high. It is even crazier that a few weeks before watching video I was one of the lucky ones to snag a pair of “What the Dunk SB.” Those are beautiful, and you can look back to see my review on them.

After falling in love with the Dunks, then seeing Logic in those, I definitely kept them on my radar. So how was I able to snag a pair any retail a year later, and on a super limited shoe!? Staying updated. Make sure if you want to be about the game of a sneaker head, know your stuff, stay alerted, and follow people that love what you love. Chances are, they could be talking about something you have had your eyes on. It is always important to really follow people who tweet or post about sneaker leaks and restocks. for my example, my Twitter feed is filled with sneaker news, vegan food, running, and positivity Really all the things I need to stay informed on.

The Nike SB Chicken and Waffles were released back in April. The shoe is styled in a wheat colored upper with a waffle-like woven pattern. the waffle-patterned look, with a gum bottom sole and a crispy clear Nike Swoosh that appears to look as if it’s covered in syrup. Not only our these a great fall shoe but they look and sound delicious. Not only does the outside of the shoe provide such character and scrumptiousness, if you take a look on the inside you find a chicken graphic. The whole fact that this sneaker went from a recipeie to a dish, just blows my mind with creativity and fun. Nike really cooked with these guys...

Sizing for the shoe? I can either go true to size or a half size down in the SB if I want a little room. In my opinion the SB model does run a little big. These I would do a true to size, although I did go down a half size, but I like the snug fit. The inner of the shoe does give a lot of comfort and cushion so if you have to stay true size, do it, and you could even go a half up for down.
